Guest Speakers

Each Spring the Painted Stone Settlers sponsor a guest speaker on a subject of living history.

Past speakers include Daniel Boone, Isaac Shelby, and Maggie Delaney - Indentured Servant, and Henry Clay. These meetings are free and open to the public..

Other meetings have included Nancy O’Malley, Archaeologist and Museum Assistant Director at the Department of Anthropology, W. S. Webb Museum of Anthropology, University of Kentucky.

Clare Sipple from the Lower Howards Nature Preserve,

Elizabeth Chalfant from The Fort Boonesborough Foundation

General Ronald Van Stockum, local historian and author.

In addition to
